It's Farmers Market day in Kailua. We went to the morning market before I headed to Manoa to work.
The morning market is called the People's Open Market. There are products from other islands, too.
There are fruits you might expect, like pineapple and papaya.
There are fruits and veggies I recognize, like limes, soybeans, and peppers.
Some that are familiar but a LOT BIGGER -- like avocadoes.
And some I have to look up in the Farmers Market cookbook I bought for the pictures.
Some come with labels, which is helpful.
Fish, fish, fresh fish of all kinds.
And, of course, flowers!
A preschool was visiting the market, learning about fruits, vegetables and buying some treats with their own money.
